The foundation for Life Sciences & Society (Biowetenschap & Maatschappij) has published a new booklet on adolescent brain development (in Dutch). It covers the most recent insights on a wide range of topics, such as risk-taking behavior, social-emotional development, self image, depression in adolescence, and what happens when development deviates from average. It is written by Dutch scientists and youth professionals, amongst which BDRC researchers Laura van der Aar, Renske van der Cruijsen, Marieke Bos. Sabine Peters and Annelinde Vandenbroucke were members of the editorial board. With a preview written by Eveline Crone. It can be downloaded (free) or bought through the website of Life Science and Society.
