Saskia Euser graduated from the research master Developmental Psychopathology in Education and Child Studies in 2012. During her research master and after her graduation she was involved in two research projects on child malteatment prevalence and in teaching activities. In November 2013, Saskia defended her PhD thesis on the prevalence of and risk factors in child maltreatment in the Netherlands and in Dutch out-of-home care. Currently, Saskia is a postdoc/mid-career researcher in the Leiden Consortium on Individual Development ( www.individualdevelopment.nl). Within this project, her research focuses on how children’s development is influenced by their environment, with a particular focus on parenting behaviors. Using observational and intensive longitudinal measures, she aims to measure the day-by-day and moment-to-moment experiences of children and parents in their daily lives.
